Just bought a 2006 WRX

I was cruising through St Paul this weekend and spotted a 2006 white WRX 5sp for sale.

Apparently the previous buyer flaked on the guy who owns the shop. They were asking $17k for it but I offered $16 cash and he took it.

Only draw back is that it's a repairable title. But the guy fixes Lotus Elise models, so I know he is legit.

It should be ready by the end of the week, he just has a few more remaining tweaks to make.

I will have to meet up with you all again soon. I missed the ice racing, boo.

But I saw a few guys with MN Subaru shirts at the last autox event I was at...so I assume they are members here.

Yes. I used to be a fairly active member.

Went to an ice race, nearly broke readymix's shoulder.

Also, when I was working on a new business pitch for BF Goodrich, we bought pizza and drinks for close to 75 MN Subaru members and interviewed them about their cars, lifestyle, etc.

 

that would be nice cause i could get my money back sooner.
