That is a heck of a deal. Those should be a lot of fun.

    Mmm, still working on it.

I figure I have only enough "track-day-capital" with my wife to make it to one more this year.

Looking at RA in early Oct. too.

Plus, not sure If I'll have these tires in time for the 18th. And still waiting on my RCE brake ducts.

The Kook's also wear out a decent amount faster. In the damp or cold I'd bet on the 615's. Any other time and it's a crap shoot.

I can't say anything bad about my 615's. I love them.

Have you ever tracked them? How are they in the wet?

I bought them based on price and comments I've read.

Not knowing how the WRX's gearing is compared to the STi's, do you see the lower sidewall hampering your gearing?

I know on the STI, having a 245/45/17 actually was nice b/c it lengthened the gearing that much to make 2nd more usable on a course

Nope. Just got my suspension completed last Sat. I still need to re-tune it before I take it to the track so looks like next summer.

They work well in the rain. The compound is soft enough that it doesn't slide all over. No hydroplanning issues either.
