Why do you need that much brake for a car that will never see the high side of 65mph??:hsugh:

Oh ya, Make sure you bring those rotors down to Deversified so they can treat them. They will out live the car after that.

The calipers weigh like 5-7lbs but the Rotors weighs a ton...The whole front brake kit package weighs just under 70lbs.

Hahaha...you'll get there some day!;) Just have to remove some other stuff that you don't need to even out the weight issue!

Btw=Instead of upgrading that big...why didn't you just go for the rear deploy parachute set-up!?LOL...probably would have been a down grade in stopping ability...but would have been lighter!!! :bowrofl:

If my car starts to take off like a Concord and speeds of Mach III...I don't think a Parachute or a brake kit can slow me down...Thank god for Downshifting and PPG gears...haha

Actually I have! But they don't get ya the right lift...would need to be more gullwingish! Btw...have you ever seen a reverse lambo kit for a rear door assembly!? I think the lambo front/suicide rear looks ok...but I want to do the lambo front/reverse lambo rear. So the mounts and hinges would need to be in the back of the rear doors instead of the current hinges position by the center post.

Yes Nate ...I said they look ok. I'm interested in something else I've never seen before. Rear lambo doors that go back like suicide doors, but not back and out...back and up! I drew a picture in a sketch book a while back of what the wrx might look like with the set-up. If I can find it, i'll try to scan it in and post it up for ya.

I'm going to have to think this over. I can't think of a good thing to say just yet. But I figure I've got some good material here with a scissor door show car with 8 pot calipers that never drives and another car with 19" wheels and an oil gauge on the hood that isn't connected. I'll think this over and get back to you.

yes...I have Josh, The back doors flying up with be great, that came across in my mind a few times as well...But the Fabrication that u have to do to get the hinges welded on is closer to the impossible side, because of the limited space and size of the impreza...If you saw the hinge to attach it you'll be shocked how much space u need to even fit it in...It was tough enough with the front fenders (took about a month of measuring, cutting, welding, etc). We only had 2mm of space to work with...

I think it will look sweet, but no one has done it yet because it is close to impossible unless u custom make the hinge yourself...A lot fo R&D. Plus u would need to relocate your door handles to the front...Now when I said close to impossible it is on the IMPREZA models, not other car makes..Plus it would be a hassle to open and close them because they both can hit corners...
