    Hey all,

I've spent the past two days using the "search" feature of this site trying to learn as much as I can as quickly as I can, and just want to say hello.

A little history about myself: I'm 30 years old. Married and have the 1st kid on the way. I work selling acoustical / soundproofing stuff, and our company is one of the most comprehensive in the country. I've been helping build and co-driving for a MkII Volkswagen Golf GTI with (formerly the SCCA) now the Rally-America for a numbe of years. Hopefully some of the rally guys on here will back me up... I recently upgraded from a 1998 POS Saturn to an 02 WRX which I am just now learning about. I've done some a## kicking in a frew local rally-crosses (ha ha Utecht and Holden) and have done my fair share of stage rally in the fairly recent past.

Anyway, I am not a newbie to car forums, I am just green to the Subies, so I greatly appreciate all the help I can get. I know how to use the SEARCH feature, but my initial questions may seem very rookie - becaue I don't know #hit about this car.. This is my 1st forced induction car, and my first boxer.

I just bought an 02 WRX, which has been my dream car for a number of years, and I can't tell you how excited I am to own this car. I do not have any significant "plans" for the car as of yet. I am just looking for a reliable daily driver - until it's paid off.

Anyway, hello from St. Bonifacius / Chaska

    -Ted

PS: just cause I've had a few coors lights...
Me changing ANOTHER broken axel at 100 Acre Woods..

I bought the car from a guy in Eden Prairie, who had recently bought it from Justin Grimm.

Yeah, Tristan is one of the coolest, most up-standing young guys that I've met in a long time. The minor details of the sale of the car is a little odd, but I think everything will work out. Are you from the western suburbs as well?

I remember the 1st rally cross that we ever went to, you let us use your cordless impact and I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

that's gotta be on the deeper side of the lake right?

The side the landing is on is really shallow isn't it?

19 of those?! I suppose...lots of smaller fish in there to feed on, and not a big lake...nice pike!

Yep, sure was on the deeper side.
That morning, we had six fish over 30", including one 35" and one 34", and none of them were under 25". It was one of the best days of fishing pike that I've ever had. I wish I could have seen how big the pack was down there with an Acuaview or something (if the water wasn't so darn murky).

They all went back in the water by the way. ;)

    Thanks!!!
