John, where in your engine bay are you going to install it? Your MY98 is a MAF, right? In my old MAP based GC6, the Ganzflow cold air intake makes more power than a cone filter placed in the engine bay. A cone filter will be a lot louder, suck in warmer air, and take away low-end torque, but gives some at the top. I thought Cobb Tuning was working on a CAI for the MAF RS'... :???:

You can find some metro Checkers/Auto Zone/PEP Boys chains around Saint Paul that carry K&N filters. Get out your phone book and call around. You could check the Checkers on Payne Ave and University to make sure they carry them.

I have a weapon R intake coming...but instead of using that junk filter I am going with k&n...CIA which connect to the MAF then the cone filter will be pretty much where the stock one is going to be...
I might try to fabicate a heat shield around the cone.

I can sell ONE. I also think it would be most ideal to have the cone in the fender and feed it through. I think I'll do that and sell my Perrin foam panel filter on the Leggy. I don't know how much to sell the cone for.:???: Make me an offer John.

Hey, a pipe is a pipe. Just ask Fue ;)
I say as long as it's not all ragged on the inside to mess up the flow, and it's not too cheap, then it's good enough.

I don't know the brands. I got them from my friend who got them when he was in the service touring Nippon(Japan). So, they're most likely Nipponese made. Maybe we can work out a trade; I need my oil changed...}:)

Also, I might be swapping my Legacy's Perrin Foam panel filter with one of the cones so that will be up for grabs/sale possibly soon. It depends on how she runs with the cone on.

In a way I fix computer but really I fix anything hardware and software related... Monitoring the flow of traffic setting up Cisco switchs regarding to ports and what not. Server management, making sure services are running or stopped and setting up DNS on the LAN/WAN to properly route traffic. These are a few of the things that I do.

Yia, you don't have to be a computer geek to know that IT is about or related to computer.

Even my 2nd grader and pre-schooler can tell you that. It's scary now a day how kids in high school doesn't even know what IT stands for. It's a vastly use term that you can't miss it. It's on the news, advertisement... etc.

Now to answer your question how much I make... let's say I'm living well enough. I hate bragging so there's no need to say how much I actually make. I'm very sure there are people on this board or makes a lot more and then some who's living pay check to pay check... or jobless... like me, soon [xx(]

Don't panick. it aint all that big of a prob. Hmmm, I got the intake/filter cleaner kit. I'll lend it to you. You can use water but you need the grease (cleaner kit) to grease the filter afterwards. The tubes are connected some where, not sure cause Im @ school. Your mounting might be different from mine. The dude who owned my car b4 use 2 metal things, dont know if they came with the intake or not. If you want, I can stop by on Uni on Fri night and show you the set-up.

Pipe clamps right? like a buck at any hardware store. It's not that hard. Look at the connection to the throttle body there's a pipe clamp there so you can see what it looks like. You have to mount the MAF some where. Is it the whole intake or is it just the cone? Didn't you ask me for a cone filter????
