I had the opportunity to have Adam of TYC Photography take some pics of my 240sx late last fall while he was up here in ND for a couple days. Here are the results. Some of these were posted last fall; however, they are all up again. Please feel free to leave comments, feedback, questions, ect...
We shall see! I don't drive it very often, and its actually for sale on a couple forums. I don't think it will sell quickly ahah. If I still have it, maybe ill bring it down to a dyno day, or something.
ahaha Its not all that much of a garage queen. Ya, I do drive it, probably put around 1k a year on it. It has been to BIR, its a blast on the road course
Were u up that last year Musashi? I was up there with some friends, if you were up there you may have seen the silver turbo 350z, c5 vette or c6 Z06. That was our group.
I have a very poor memory, I was up at BIR a few times. But you guys sound like my kind of group. LOL I plan to be up at BIR again very soon. Hit me up next time you're going and I might just happen to be there.
You sir, have a very nice looking 240! Just curious if you know what kind of camera they were shooting with? Don't really expect you to know, just the photographer in me, wondering.
Haha! That's awesome! What was the reasoning for turboing the KA versus tossing in a SR20DET like so many do? Just cost, ease?
With a turbo that size? I would have expected at least 0.000000 FWHP. You should get your tune checked out, your fuel might have a nasty hold.
Probably would have been easier and cheaper to do a SR swap. With my experience with the SR20, they are a good engine. However, i would never own one that wasn't fully rebuilt before putting it in the car. Seems there are so many of them that come across to the US that are shot and basically junk. I like the KA, cause of the extra .4 liters, and the ability to get replacement parts when needed. I also like it cause its different. I think there are what, 4-5 KA-T 240's in MN/ND/SD. And We have built 2 of them, and are helping build another one of them. I think I might need a new fuel filter. I heard those rob HP. He has always used a Canon. I am not sure of which exact model he is using at the moment.
