Hey MNS. I'm Kenny, And I F*cking love my suabru. Bought it as it is performance wise today. Its my first Subaru I've owned since last November and its been nothing but pure enjoyment. Specs: Engine- Stock Motor Catless upipe + Catless TBE E85 Tune by Nuke Bigger injectors and fuel pump Grimspeed 3port Boost controller Wheels: Drag DR31 Michelin Super Sports Interior: Home made "JDM" crown royal shift boot. 06 STi OEM Shift knob. I used to be a huge Honda guy, And I owned this stance monster. Many of you probably hate this ****, But its what got me to be the enthusiast I am now. I guess you could say it really sparked my interest for bigger and better things. Back in Novemeber of last year, A unlicensed younger female driver slid through an intersection and completely totalted it. It sucked, and I thought I wouldn't be able to get back on my feet. But everything went for the better, I got a better job, and a huge pre-approved loan and picked the Subaru. Just goes to show, Things can and will happen for the better. And I learned that first hand. So lets start with this: *First Day of Purchase* Sometime last year- & How it sits today: So keep on the lookout for most post, But I can assure that this isn't going to be an overnight , weekly part thing. Im taking my time, doing my research, and just overall enjoying the car before it turns into a track beast, As I am doing as much as I can to help my single mother while taking the role as a big brother. So don't expect anything too maaaad anytime soon. But surely down the road. So my overall goals is a well balanced track/street machine. Next upgrade : Full suspension... Any input and help is much appreciated! Thanks guys, I hope I don't get hit again.
Looks awesome. I will add, if you are going to be winter driving this, I would wait and do suspension in the spring. The last thing you want is to be sitting low and have an ice chunk take out your front bumper. Just my .02
Thanks guys! And yeah I'm actually looking into a bunch of prevenentive maintinence pretty soon here. So won't have any suspension money until then. But thanks guys!
So just a little update: Got a retune From Jesse and Devin @ JM Auto in Osseo( Great group of guys btw) back to 92, As the extra MPG will help my wallet, But do plan on getting a dual MAP along with an accessport to switch back and forth from E85 -> 92/93. Doing my Brakes, Coolant Flush, And replacing a couple coil packs, But I'll refrain from posting boring maintenance photos. But I did manage to get some free time with one of my good friends, and take some fall pictures before the winter season hits. So I'll upload a few of my favorites to keep you guys from getting bored of my thread. Did a little festive Haloween-ing , and went back to stock wheels on winter tires! * My personal favourite picture evvvverrrrr taken* Oh , And cant forget the " I love my subaru, so I'm going to graze through the feild of its greatness" By the way, My good friend Guifeng is a phenomenal amateur photographer, and is offering sessions for a variable fee. Reasonable prices, for anyone looking for some honest and quality photos. Located in Rochester, So just PM me for his contact information!
Yeah unfortunately I have came to the decision that my family comes first. I can easily manage owning the WRX, But with all finances that I have , I will be saving a little over 500/month if I get rid of it. Which will go towards my mothers medical bills, and ultimately saving up for a house for her. It sucks, But I know down the road I'll have a chance to have another Subaru. And maybe a WRX Wagon that I've dreamt of. But as of now, Family is priority. I'm sure many of you can relate.\ My current craigslist ad got all messed up, So re doing it a lot neater today
Well good luck with the sale brotha! Cars can be replaced, you only get one family! If I hear of anyone looking for a zombie killin post apocalyptic WRX...I'll send them your way !
Saw you the other day, last week I think turning into the crossroads plaza, best of luck with the sale!
