Do the new fobs help the range/interference issues of the old orange/blue button design? Or is that an issue with the in-car unit?

hmmm.... in that case, I may be interested in the 05 remote. My 04 orange/blue doesn't open my car near where I live & work!!

is it easy to program? could we try it in my trouble spot (Roseville)?

I like the tear drop style of the '05 ones. It seems to be smaller than the '04 style. If it'll work, I'll take 2. If I'm correct, you want $10 each?

What do I need to do in order to purchase them from you. Phone #? Can we meet somewhere tomorrow, the 5th?

    Thanks!

Sounds like you're in "valet mode." Try locking and unlocking with the driver's door open. See if that changes anything.

i did...i gave it a new battery, i tried what you said...been doing that for awhile now cause when the alarm goes on all you see is flashing lights no loud beeping noise...i tried pressing both buttons to reset it(someone said to do that) it did nothing

before my alarm totally died out...fuji and lue were in WI...they were about to leave and yah we were at autozone and when i pressed my alarm on button...the car made a dying duck beeping noise it's reallie weird

you know how when you lock, it goes "beep beep" twice...and unlock "beep"...it was like "quuwwwaaaccckk quuwwaacckk" foreals! ask lue and fuji

questions about remotes, is there anyway to disarm the car without using the remote? i cant find mine right now but i do have an extra key. can i turn off the alarm with just the key? i have an 02 wrx. also if anyone has a remote that they dont use anymore and could help me out, i would appreciate that too.

    thanks

Pretty sure you just gotta tough out the noise until you get the key in the ignition and turn it.
