Anyone know how to test a knock sensor? My car has a P0325 DTC. I pulled the knock sensor off and tested it with my multimeter, and I'm getting zero continuity through it (infinite resistance). Just wondering what it's supposed to be at. I would expect there is an acceptable resistance range for the sensor?

I seem to remember reading a while ago about trouble with impreza knock sensors, and that is usually wasn't the sensor itself. Anyone have any experience with this?

    Thanks,
    Joel

Ok, thanks. So I guess the sensor itself can go bad.

Anyway, I couldn't do anything about it tonight so I just cleaned all the corrosion off of the parts and retourqed it to 17 ft lbs. We'll see if the code comes back on the way to work tomorrow.
