My neighbor is looking at the KYB AGX shocks and aftermarket springs (Prodrive most likely) for his Wagon. KYB and Tire Rack have told him they don't fit, but I remember seeing some people putting the Sedan AGX's on, some even used the GC8 AGX's with factory springs on the front... Anyone here install them on a Wagon. I told him to go with Coilovers, but he doesn't want to spend the money. Thanks for any info.
KYB AGX were a dealer option for the GCs and i think that they still might be for the GDs. anywho KYB makes all subaru struts from what i have heard, and my guess is that they will fit fine w/ stock or prolly even better w/ aftermarket springs. should contact brian at BP subaru and ask if subar has a part # for them if they do then yoru in bussiness if not then do some more research.
I found a few guys that use them on i-club and nasioc, the say just not to use the factory springs an you will be fine. Why you would want to use the factories I don't know but hey thats me. Thanks.
