This is the third year I made it out to the LA auto show. This year was mellower than the last couple of years with none of the Italian car manufacturer being present. I took a few photos while I was there and figured I will share with you folks. Happy holidays and happy wheeling! http://www.flickr.com/photos/aatc20/sets/72157625677369066/
Im fighting with work/the girlfriend to get some time off and head out to the North American International Auto Show in Detroit later this month, I've been a few times and its nice seeing prototypes in person!
Great pics! That would be the only time I wouldnt want LA to fall into the ocean, when those cars are in town!
Wonderful pictures by the way and thanks for sharing. I was at the San Francisco Auto show just a few months ago and took a bunch of pictures. I've never had an interest for old classic cars until I saw the ones at this show. WOW I haven't been to the MPLS show recently but I'd say the SF was a bit small. I had gone there to test drive the Nissan Leaf and though I was impressed by the test drive and technology I was disappointed in their ability to secure a proper course for testing to help show the cars full potential. An indoor open room with a few turns with plastic laid floor isn't exactly fun. Do yo have any pictures of the new Prototype Impreza? What was the most impressed car you saw there?
Thanks guys! I didn't get a picture of the impreza! Believe it or not, I didn't even go into that hall room. Some of the big names not being there was a big turn off for me. I was most impressed with the Infiniti Concept though I can't remember the name. Apart from that, the Aston V12 vanquish and the Rapide was my favorite. I was really counting on the 458 italia being there on display ... Oh forgot the R8 GT; matte finished white paint job was nice!
