Lambo Doors...Dumb or Cool

I saw a few auctions on ebay for STI lambo doors. Anyone ever seen these in person on an STI. I think they are prabably pretty crappy and wouldn't work that well, maybe even be just plain stupid.

Ugly on 4doors period, GC8s look ok.

 

Sogonerg has them on his car, he'll be along I'd guess soon enough.

Personally they do nothing for me, but whatever floats you boat.

Make sure it is a GT Factory Kit...$1000 and install is about $1500-$2000 make sure they gaurantee their Job. Yearly maintanence is about $100 or so to adjust and replace Struts. You'll get attention for sure...But it is a headache getting in and out of. I do not drive my car daily...Thank god, but if you do...I wouldn't recommend it. DO NOT BUY BOLT ONs...All good kits are Welded on.

yeah and dont try to get in your car in a relatively low garage either. Saw this happen once on a celica, it was not good.

I think some 2 door cars can pull it off, but not 4 doors.

 

For subarus just roll down your windows...Since it is frameless and you'll be fine and yea...I can see the celica getting a hit. Actually the front driver and passenger side on the 4 doors are shorter than the 2 doors...So it will clear better.

Must be a small small garage if you doors can't even clear it...That's any car

I personally like the lambos but if you are going to do it make sure you dont take the cheep way out. I have seen too many cheep lambo doors that are really hard to close and they wooble when they are open in the wind. I think that looks cheep. But do what you want it is your car and your money!

I wasnt thinking about doing it just getting opinions, i wont be keeping this car for that long and wouldnt modify it that much
