What a great idea. Last year, we were pulling down branches with rope and breaking them apart. We will be taking the explorer, maybe we can bring some bundles of wood.
So last year I learned my gas can full of e85 was not worth bringing. My seats still smells like ethanol. I'll have my tent, tools, jacks, cooler.
Have to be careful transporting wood they get kinda touchy about that at alot of camp grounds. Unsure if this one is one of them. Wood there is pretty cheap we just need to go get the wood ourselves and not wait for them to deliver it this year. Also If sheen does not have room I should have room in one of my vehicles. I plan to bring both the BRZ and monster truck again. May or may not have a roof rack for it by then so should have all of the storage room.
I’d really prefer it if the branches were left on the tree this year. I’ll get the wood sooner so that the carnage can be averted.(Jason, i may need your monster truck for woodz)
Not a problem. I will still bring the axe for splitting kindling. Deff need to work on being better neighbors this year if we want to be invited back. Last year we deff upset quite a few people.
I thought giving the wood to the neighbors wiped our bad reputation... Also, the campsite was OK with multiple cars on a single space, right?
I do not know if it was the same people we gave the wood to that were upset with us or not. They were just upset with the noise later in the night that we had coming from over where we were playing beer pong and what not. Either way not a good thing to make a habit of. Who knows if they complained to management or not or just delt with it with us.
That trunk has a lot more space than you're giving it credit for. Otherwise, I have plenty of room in the wagon.
We have an 8 person tent, an air mattress, and 2 folding chairs stuffed in what Nissan calls a trunk on the Z. There is still room back there for the mini battery backup, and probably a pump for the mattress, and a blanket or two. In addition, we can each fit a small backpack behind our seats. We will need someone to haul our cooler though.
I can haul your cooler in my XV if you want. I have a roof top tent so I have plenty of cargo room open.

The only thing I know I'm bringing is a tent so I have an empty hatchback if we need more room.. Like another cooler.
