So I thought I would start a thread for all the cumpers that we will have for LAX cruise. Thought it would be a good place to help organize what everyone plans to bring IE Tarps Lights Chairs so on to maximize the experience and limit the amount of **** we all end up doubling up on and the things we all for get and inevitably have to make Walmart runs for. I will start things off and try and keep the OP up to date with a running list: JasonOJordan: 6 Camping Lamps 12V Mattress Pump Medium Sized Cooler Plastic Drink Dispenser Football Frisbee Paper Plates Plastic Utensils 6 Person River Tube (Pending weather and interest) An Axe (Don't need a repeat of last year...) 3 Chairs Fleshlight (need a repeat of last year) Anal-ease 12x12 Canopy Mnelson: Tools Jack Stands 4 Chairs (Maybe) Cooler Josh: I should have... -large/medium cooler fer beerz -room next to me in mah "sleeping" bag -2 cumping chairs -flamingbawlzofdoom -maybe the led slapyourbawlz to watch Jason slap himself in his bawlz with. Can bring the bean bag toss/cornholios if needed. DerP: I can bring... bug torches up to 5 chairs small cooler 2 tarps 550 cord clips deez nuts
I can bring a toolbox, Jack/stands if needed, because subaru. @derp could even bring his shiny new pry bar if he wants. I don't know where mine are, but ratchet straps are always nice to have on hand too. I should also have maybe 4 chairs, a cooler, and possibly the corn hole game. I'll have to look at what else I have at home.
What about flaming bawlz of doom...? I should have... -large/medium cooler fer beerz -room next to me in mah "sleeping" bag -2 camping chairs -flamingbawlzofdoom -maybe the led slapyourbawlz to watch Jason slap himself in his bawlz with. Can bring the bean bag toss/cornholios if needed.
Oh boy I'm so glad I'm not on the hook for the Fleshlight! Anyway, we still don't know. I'm concerned about female things and camping so we may get a hotel but will hold out until most folks are asleep. Unless you wanna party at our room. Which could be an option.
Hey lady, if Vanessa can handle "lady things" and an 8 month old camping, so could you! All kidding aside, as long as you come for the shenanigans, a hotel room would be acceptable!
I'm not sure what "lady things" your worried about but they do have a modernish facility for toilets and showers.
My wife camps, other ladies usually do too, fear not I can bring: bug torches up to 5 chairs small cooler 2 tarps 550 cord clips deez nuts
Well if thats the case I can make sure I make a name tag for my wife so she knows where the dishwasher and/or laundry machine is.
My wife rides anywhere from 30-60 miles with me one way with the entirety of a weekends camp necessities strapped to our bikes, regardless of weather, to spend a weekend in the dirt away from all the urban idiocy. Tell your ol' lady to suck it up and find a good time with you away from the daily essential bull**** the US' marketing swarm has shoved down her throat since birth.
Yes I am. Are you volunteering? See boys, things happen to a woman's body every month. Special things, so I've been told. If you are me, the things coincide with planned events. I can tell you that I won't be comfortable outside if that's going on. But I still don't know what we are doing. We will figure it out before August, of course. We always do.
Aww cute. Someone doesn't know me Been a while since that happened! And don't get me started on that bull**** regarding the US marketing and blah blah blah. I'm usually the one advocating to go to events Also, I saw your edit, and my Self actually hates me, so it's no good arguing with her. (I can't get multi quote to work on my phone, so I'm double posting! As a former moderator, I can do this. )
We should probably have jumper cables if someone doesn't have them in their car already. I can bring a set if I can find mine. Otherwise I have some Christmas lights we can string together. I'll also bring a small battery Bluetooth speaker unless someone has something bigger and better. And how about food..? Smores? Snacks?
I have jumpers/first aid kit in my car. I have a bluetooth speaker as well. You can bring the christmas lights if you wish but I do have about 6-7 hanging led lanterns that I am bringing. In terms of food we normally all caravan from the cruise meet location to the walmart that is on the way and we all pick up some food items we want and would like to share. Doing it that way has helped with not having to much duplicate food items in the past.
This might not be exactly what could be considered "needed" but figured I could chime in with what I can offer. I have a coleman grille, top propane stove, grilling utensils, medium sized cooler, regulation sized beer pong table, camping lamp, 2 extra chairs and a 12V mattress pump.
Anyone have a ladder ball setup that they could bring? Haven't played forever with someone else's stringy balls and pipes. Anyone?
I have a 10x10 easy up if we need another.. Might just bring it anyways.. Although, I don't know where my tent is. I should probably start looking.
I wish I still had my outback for this reason. I'm worried my hatch isn't big enough. I've slept in a crosstrek before and it was a little too short for my liking. Guess I'll have to test it out.
If you want to borrow my tent I can bring my 6 person tent I just didnt feel like putting it up myself (its super easy though)
I'll let you know if I don't find mine by the end of the week. Hoping I'll have time on Wednesday to look. You can also tack onto my list, 5 gal of e80.
I've got 4 hotdog/marsh mellow roasters. Tarp, bungee cords, wine corkscrew/bottle opener, matches, grill lighter, aluminum foil. Small mess kit, a few trash bags.
