:naughty:Saturday June 4th, 2011:5th Annual LaXCruise!:naughty: The time has come to begin the sign up for the 5th Annual LaXCruise sponsored by Morries Minnetonka Subaru and NOS Energy drinks!! Brian Bielke and i are both working diligently at putting together the best summer cruise yet!! Q:What it is? A:The BIGGEST annual subaru based summer cruise in Minnesota! Cruise, bbq, games, raffles, and camping. Cliffs... -2011 LaXCruise to Copeland Pavillion in LaCrosse, WI. Saturday June 4th, 2011. (LaCrosses' Oktoberfest pavillion that fits nearly 100 cars! Approx cost:$15/Adult,$5/child. Campground site is $18/tent at G.I.C.) -A day cruise that continues on through the evening at Goose Island Campgrounds. (Camping is optional but i highly recommend hanging overnight to play some glow in the dark football!) -BBQ style lunch. (There will be food provided via caterer or by us.) -Games and raffles. (Games like bags, kickmahballs, ladder ball. Raffles with prizes from our local sponsors and vendors!) -1st Annual Subaru FanBoi contest! (Wear your favorite subaru gear and win a $50 Giftcard to BP Stations!) -Drive Magazine?? (You heard right!! Brian is currently working on getting SOA's 'Drive' magazine to cover the event and they have shown interest in doing an article!) ...etc, etc, etc!!! Sounds great. This would be my first year for this event, since I'm a noob. But I would definitely like to go. Me +1 (for sure). I will discuss this with some other subaru friends. Hopefully I can get three or four cars to go and camp.
If Nate brings his army of kids in the Yota I might take mine, otherwise we can start a kraut corner.
Looking good so far! We have 17 cars signed up and 30 people within just the first week!!(officially) Soooo many new members on the forum...this is the one 'can't miss ' event of the season for the subaru enthusiast! And to all of you that bailed early last year, most of the fun happened after hours at the campgrounds. Try not to miss out this year!!
I may actually make it! (haven't been since the first one) We normally do superbike races @ road america this weekend but considering a GP race in Indy later in the year instead.
