While I was at Mike's over the weekend (last weekend) I took a few photos of the swap in progress (helped a little too ). http://www.mlgez.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=14929
Right here in Buffalo. David Wray Auto. Mike (Wray) works there (its a family thing). Sure is nice having a shop right here when I need it. He did my downpipe and stuff a while back. That was a real pain in the a**. He had to torch a nut off the turbo. I think he may be doing that again tonight with a pesky nut on another turbo.
Oh! I see the custom airbox modification for the APS Intake on the last page. AWESOME!!! It looks as good as mine. My next one will fully taped with racers tape to prevent water to deform it. I'm too generous to take and use some politician's corrugated plastic sign off of my neighbor's yard for my mod.
are you the guy who waved at me the other day on 25 at the rail road tracks, i was going north bound??? if not are there any other members in the buffalo area???
So here it is. The "Fong Spec Airbox". Sorry I do not have any photos of the finished product. I had to leave before it was done.
thats ridiculously wild... that wagon looked hot why the swap other than the fact the sedan is hotter?!?!?
if i remember correctly he didn't like the fact that it was black... other than that idk... now you just need to get that rs bumper thats on your wagon painted and slap'er on the sedan
Well angusracer, the bumper is already painted and on the car... I work really fast! Also before I did the swap in the wagon I really wanted the sedan, but I decided to settle with the wagon. Then I found a smoking deal on a pretty clean 99 Impreza L. So I hopped a gayhound to Virginia ( which really SUCKED!) and picked it up, and drove it home. Then less then 24 hours of being home I stripped the sedan and prepaired the swap. Then 2 days later I was driving the new car.
