I need help with finding some local shops around the twin cities. I don't even know if Hyper Tek Area 51 is still open anymore. I tried calling them the other day and the line was disconnected. Also tried calling Perpushun but never can get ahold of the person I need to speak with.

If any of you know some local shops, please let me know. Thanks guys.:

There is BZ out in Burnsville off of highway 42. I believe they are a full shop. They sell all kinds off stuff and have three install bays. Worth checking out.

Not sure of John Haley motersports is still open but I would recomend that everyone stay clear of that place. My buddy had his eclipse done there (new engine) and they messed it up bad.

Not sure where you are or whatever, but I had an exhaust put on at Hi-Performance Art in Blaine (Hwy 242 near Oak Park BLVD...located just east of Blaine high school). They did a good job and didn't charge much. They do a lot of different work...they have at least 2 bays I think.

    Here's there website:

    http://hiperformanceart.com/

They do the following work and can do a lot of custom work:

    Brakes
    Chassis Dyno
    Computer Diagnostics
    Computer Tuning
    Custom Pipe Bending
    Exhaust
    Electrical
    Front End Work
    Mufflers
    Scheduled Maintenance
    Transmission

Anyway, they do other stuff as well from what he told me, but I don't know how much stuff they sell.

If you're looking for a shop to get work done at, I recommend them. If you're looking for a performance shop to buy things, contact them and maybe they can help you out a little.

    My 2 cents.

No, I don't work for any of the listed. I'm just looking for some shops around mpls area. I looking to get some parts and what to try to get the best price and would like to meet some new people in the same life style as us. Plus I don't really like buying parts online. I one of those people that would like the part in hand when I pay for them and not have to wait for it to come by ups or fedex.

Well shopping locally has the drawback of significantly limiting your selection. I've always bought my parts online and have never had a problem.

It is alwys a plus to deal with a shop. cuase if the part doesnt work or something like that you have somewhere to go to.

Try SThree. if you havent already. its probably 15-20 minutes from minnetonka to get there. jeffs a good guy, hes just starting out w/ the shop really, and needs customers.

Has anyone checked had any services done at MATT'S Garage!?

Of course we all have. LOL It probably the most most afforable. And you get your hands dirty, and you get front roll seats.

Besides the appealing prices, you should also look for integrity in customer service.

Customer service is always a must. Who would want to right to a shop the doesn't have the service behind it. Right?

I heard there is a shop called RSmotor sport or something in the nature in st. paul. Does anyone know what shop I'm talking about. If so... where in st. paul is it?

i think it was these guys that forgot to grommit a firewall plug on an evo amp install...

evo went through some puddles, started to smell bad, dealer refused warranty service, BZ claimed no responsability.
