Came out this afternoon from the post office to see this lady have her license plate up against my bumper (13 WRX with 2000k miles on it) and while we were talking and exchanging info another guy comes barreling along and pulls into the spot in front of me and swipes my front bumper. What that crap? Looking for a meticulous and great body shop where you would trust your cat. Paint matching I wouldn't think "should" be too much of a problem as the car is only 2 mo old, but I have really no idea. No runs, no over spray, no orange peel. Also would like to get the tail lights painted red instead of overlays, mirrors possibly black and kicking around the idea on black roof.

    Ive been told about:

Raymonds Auto Body in St. Paul and Tired Iron in Forest Lake.

    1. Shop name? and why you'd recommend them.
    2. Thoughts on tails, mirrors and roof.

    Thanks in advance!

Hamline Autobody has done a fine job for me in the past.

For the taillights, call Chris at Flawless Frontends. He's done them for a number of the members on here (including myself) and they look great.

That sucks man, hopefully you can get it fixed soon. Hamline has done some great work for a number of the members on here.

Does anyone who has had the tails done by Chris have a price estimate? I had a shop just quote me $365 which seemed high.

I'm not sure what his current pricing is right now, but I would guess around 1/4th of that or less. He does vinyl overlays instead of painting, but you'll be very happy with the results.

Latuff Auto body on University is great..If you call them ask for Jameson and tell him Jeff from Allstate sent you. They have been around for along long time, and being in the insurance business I send alot of my customers to them and they all have had great things to say. I personally had my avatar car taken there when someone rear ended it, they give you a lifetime warranty and do it right. They kept my car 2 days longer then expected because they were not happy with the metallic paint match on my 2011 and wanted to shoot it again.

Chris at FlawlessFrontEnds did my tail lights and my window tint.

I think tail lights are about $80 for vinyl overlays (installed) from him.

He does the vinyl and install. He will also do a great clear bra for you once you get that front end fixed.

He uses his own vinyl and does the install for that price!

It might have actually been $100. I can't remember. But it was only a little higher than buying the precut vinyl's (and his includes install)!

When he did mine as part of a package deal it was around 80ish.

Still, compared to 360 bucks it's a steal.

You won't find anyone around here who does the quality of work he does for anywhere near his pricing.

Would recommend Raymond's too, did work on my car couple years ago. Got rear ended and they fixed and matched everything.
