When I lowered my car, I also shortened my front mudflaps. I'm thinking about raising it back up and need to find some place local that sells urethane sheets so I can try and color match to my flaps and cut out longer ones. can anyone think of a place that would have what I need?

Yea let me know guys. I don't want to pay +$100 for a new set but I also don't want to order some blank squares online and not have them match my rears (I'm a closet ricer like that)

I am guessing phi11's way would last longer and hold up better in the different elements.

    Probably west of you.
    Hey kids,

I am looking into a 3-4mm blue urethane sheet - the same stuff that Prodrive uses... I got a really "floppy" set from Europe which have a fairly good design, but I want to tweak it a little and make them more aggressive. I got a sample of a plastic called Kaylan from the guy from europe that I want to find here. My secretary used to work at a plastics joint in Bloomington. I am still trying to source the stuff. I will probably try to cut them by hand, but if the demand is right, I can get one of my vendors to make a rule die to produce a perfect finished product.

For our rally car, we went to Napa and got some semi truck mudflaps and cut them with a sawzall. They were UBER stout, and function based so it didn't matter what they look like.

I will light a fire and see what I can do to source this Kaylan stuff, or something like it. I thought about getting 4 MNSubaru stickers for the next set and putting those on the bottoms. The subaru logo that is on this set is a bit too big.

    I will keep you posted.

I saw this sample a little while back. It looks like the perfect material for this.

Looked a little. Kaylan is the brand name for polyurethane products made by Kay-Dee Engineering in the UK. So it'll probably be hard to locate "Kaylan" in the USA, but a similar polyurethane shouldn't be too tought to find locally.

I know there's a local place that sells 4'x8' sheets of HDPE and UHMW, I wouldn't be surprised if they carried polyurethane sheets too, but I don't recall why they are.

I am not sure if anyone got anywhere on this thread.... but I am looking to buy a sheet of floppy material. I really love the flaps that Ted made for me, but I need more flexibility for the driveway at the cabin. Did anyone find a good hook-up on a location that sells urethane? I sent a few emails out and on my Google search I stumbled across the MNSubaru thread. If anyone has a hook-up please shoot me a PM. I figure I can make a set for under $50 instead of buying them from Rally Armor for almost triple that. Anyways let me know.
