I'm in need of a SPDT 12v/10a+ relay for radiator fan indicator lights. RadioShack doesn't carry any (they've got one that's 1a, but I don't want to run that, and then a pair of bigger SPST relays after it). Where else might be a good place?

There's a great little hole-in-the-wall electronics place in the warehouse district. I'll have to wait until I get to work to find the name/address, but they've had everything I've looked for thus far.

Are headlight relays that big? Seems like the auto parts store should have a 10 amp relay for something around.

it's not just the load I'm looking for. a headlight relay is SPST. and usually 30 amp. and I've got tons.

I'm trying to wire up an insanely complex radiator fan setup for my 4runner. with automatic control, manual override (for both on and off), and indicator lights.

    DUH! axeman!

and techy, if you do find the name of that place, let me know. sounds like a cool place.

EDIT: Well, I suppose this isn't local for you.

Yeah, it really is a cool place if you like electronics. It's a bit of a trick to find. The place is just a door on the side of a warehouse building, and doesn't have much signage. There's a washed out sign over the door though. And it's right across 7th Ave from one of those gentrified warehouse condo places.

The place is called ABC Electronics. Here's a link to the google map of the place. It's a haven for electronic stuff.

I end up there somewhat often for work, cuz it's loads cheaper than the big box places. Only catch is that you've gotta know what you're looking for.

    cool!

I should've mentioned. I'm asking now so I can stop while I'm in the cities for the holidays. so that is 'local' although my family's all out on the west side...

Don't forget about AEI off of 100. They have everything. Also, I think I have about 20 or so of them.

^^They just go by Electronics Center now. Or at least the sign is as such. I think that ABC would be a better shot with these.

I'll actually be back at AEI tomorrow. Get to pick up my 144 wire (48 balanced channel) snake cable :)
