I was keeping track of my MPG for the trip back...about 160 miles 3+ hrs dirving...about 65 MPH and 75 MPH the last 30 mins. I AVG.>34.2MPG<

Fill my gas tank to its Fullest...and I still have 3/4 of a tank left in the car after the trip back...

I'm siked about it...glad to tell my peers and customers what I avg. ;)

Have you confirmed this number with actual calculations? I have a hard time getting beter than 24 at speeds like that, if these are calculated how are ou getting milage that is this good? by calculated I mean record milage and divide miles driven by gallons filled. Fuel milage gauges make some pretty big assumptions.

I was wondering if the car can be flashed for better mpg? I love the power but i would sacrifice a little for better gas milage.

Power is irrevelant for milage. You need to be rich under boost, no way to get around that.

Personally I run about .5-.8 of a point lean under criusing conditions. I get the milage I did when I was still NA, given I stay out of boost. Standalone's will let you do that though.

I managed to get 25 MPG going down and part way back. Not too bad for my STi. Could not ever do that from the factory in my car.

The best way to get good MPG is dont constantly rev the motor and you dont need to race everytime you drive... Going full throttle is a good way for low MPGs

Lol, I started with half a tank, filled in Cannon Falls, then was down to around a half tank when we got to LaCrosse.

He drove a NA legacy there.

I got 24.1xx from my place to lax... Much better than the 16-17 I get on my daily commute.

Guess I wasn't too nice to the gas pedal at some points...I started with a full tank when we left edina, made it down to lacrosse and back on the same tank...I have just under 1/4 tank left.

Last I measured...From Full to 3/4 tank...it is about 4.5 gals difference...In this case it was just a bit under...So it is about right...WHen I went to Georgia a while back I avg. 33+ MPG and about 540+ Miles on a full tank...

During daily driving with wifey behind the wheel it gets about 26-27 MPG Stop and go city and hwy driving (traffic)

All this in summer with A/C on as well

I used less than 1/2 a tank on the way down. filled up about 60 mins from the city on the way back - have about 3/4 of a tank now

I got 240 ish miles on 10.7 something gallons. which is like 22-23 mpg on the way down. this is pretty much what i get for average city mileage. I am not yet sure wha ti got on the way back, but i bet it was in the 25-26 mpg range. we were at 65-70 most of the way back (all highway no twisties). last weekend i hit 30.8 mpg in my car so idk.

I have also noticed that when ever we drive in packs we tend to get reall close so it takes alot of sudden stopping and fast accel to keep together, which isnt ideal for mpgs.

I filled up on the way back (we went up along the river to River Falls). I was at ~27 MPG, and totally surprised. Although, we where going about 50-55 for a long portion of the cruise to let the guys in the rear catch up.

I got 26.5 mpgs from ep to igh to la crosse to ep to bloomington to ep. 354 miles. I am happy with 26.5 considering the driving was not consistant and the AC was on most of the trip.
