Looking to do a WRX swap in my '01 Forester. I'm not looking to spend more than $3,000 on the entire thing. Let me know if anyone here has any information.
$3,000 for the parts? Or $3,000 for parts and labor? Either way, it'll need to be a totaled WRX for that price i would imagine. And WITH labor it will be double whatever you've put in to parts.
I'm doing it with a few MNSubiez members, and with the help of my grandpa. $3k for for the WRX, not taking it to a shop.
Sell Forester, buy WRX. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/dak/ctd/5495596883.html Lots of miles though...
also, OP IMO you might as well sell the forester instead of wasting time and money on swapping things then you could just get a wrx.
I picked up my WRX for well under $3000 running and driving. Was totally rusty. But it was well worth the money. Found out the clutch was shot, but still made it to my house haha
