To me, it looks like a slightly elongated BRZ/FR-S/T-86.

I see zero brz/frs in there, other than they are both a coupe. I see a brilliant looking automobile. HOWEVER, I dont like what Jag has turned into. Jag has a rich motorsport history, but NONE of that history translated into hard-edged, track-day racing-type-availiable-to-the-public cars.

Fair enough. When I looked at it first glance, to me, it reminded me completely of it. From the profile view, I saw similarities. I'm not ripping on Jaguar as a whole, but in my eyes for the price of the car, the design could be more. It just visually doesn't strike me as something totally new and different. (I am not referring to anything mechanical, nor it's abilities.)

    You sure about that?

The E-type could also be argued for, as well as the XK120. However, those were a bit tamer than the XKSS was.

Yes, but they were still SO classy, even today.

I'm not saying they're not classy, but the E-Type and XK120 were one step removed from the race car.

The XKSS was a race car that was barely made street legal.

I think the new Jags have done a nice job of striking the balance between class and performance, this one just tweaks the dial towards performance.
