For my Fiance Long story short, my fiance is looking for a new vehicle (she is wanting something good in the snow leaning towards a small suv) and while we are out looking I convinced her that we should swing by subaru quick cause I wanted to just look at the new STI in person... And when we walked into the show room she fell in love with the new wrx Since I have got my 06 sti I haven't been following the reliability and issues on the new models and I heard a little bit that they have fixed some of the bugs that were in the 08-09 wrx's bring the 2011 closer the reliability and performance of the sti's. Is there anything we need to worry about? We plan on keeping her car stock if we get one. Thanks!

I have a 09 wrx. No issues that I have heard of from my year. Some things to look into most hated the stock shifter so I made sure mine had the short throw shifter added before I bought it. Mine also came with HP summer tires so had to invest in a winter setup.
The early build 09s had the same motor issues as the 08s, and some 09s have had issues with the throwout bearing/pressure plate. But I think the 11 hasnt been out long enough for real issues to arise.
