    Hey guys
    long time no see. I've been thru a crap load of cars since my 02 bug eye i bought from Bill on the boards here. But now lookin at subi's again for a daily driver.

    so im looking at this car;
    http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/wsh/cto/3376763677.html

    How reliable can this be to be a daily?
    Assuming i put a bigger turbo and accomodating fuel system, what kinda power can i pull out of this?
    And any feedback with the shop P&L Motorsports in Chicago, IL?
    The price decent for a 04 sti? Seems like it to me.

    Any input would be fantastic guys. thank you!

    It'll likely burn some oil and be noisy on start up as with any boxer with forged pistons.

    Power? depends on the turbo. Above 5-600whp is when it starts getting really spendy and about when you need to start thinking about trans/axle upgrades.

    P&L is good. Did they build the motor as well? I had Jorge tune my car. Not the best experience but not a bad one either.

    Price is ok. A bit high imho but Subarus are generally overpriced in this region

    thanks for the comment. the deal did not work out tho...

    however, i am now looking at Speed_Addicts 04 STI. The car was stunningly clean and sounds like an angry beast. Super excited to work a deal on that one.

    Can't say much on the car but on P&L, I have two friends who got their cars done at P&L that are 400-430awhp and they've done a great job. One of the few guys that'll tune setups like that on accessports in the area
