looking for a trans

    hey, I am mew to the forum, so here it goes. I am looking for a transmission for my SVX. I will use a 5 or 6 mt, but it came with a 4eat. Most of all, I want one that is rear wheel biased, unlike the svx. If the gear ratios are different, I want a rear diff, too. If anyone can help, please let me know asap. THANKS!

    my advice to you is to go onto subaru-svx.net and read, read what needs to be done and get a complete list of the parts. read about the 4.11 and 4.44 guys. as a fellow SVXer this is the best advice i can give you.

    the WRX trannies have the 1.1:1 transfer gear to give it a bit more rear end bias....



    BUT, the 3.3l will eat up 5-speeds. the 6-speed is pretty much a necessity.
