I have a friend that has two of them. His is mildly modded and is definitely pretty quick. Very cool car but I think the awd kinda sucks on them, open diffs blow :?

    323s came in awd?! stock?

Wow, I missed that one, did some searching a coupel years ago on pretty much every awd car I could find, new or old, 323 never came up.

That thing looks pretty neat in that trim, a bit better than the stock look.

It's a 323 GTX. There are usually a few floating around, I see them every now and then on NASIOC. RallyMN might have a few on their boards as well.

    a 'little' modded??? yea....

technically it's FT4WD...not AWD, I beleive. and they're not open diffs, the center one locks. bikerboy came muddin with us once last summer, and that thing did quite well, too bad it was so dry, or it would have been awesome.

Dont agree as I have had both. I have had two GTX's and one 90 all trac. Yes the Toy was a great car and fun but the GTX is way lighter and has better ground clearence and a locking center diff.

And to clear up when and where on these:

GTX was made in 88-89 with 1200 +/- imported

There is another GTX in 90-93 but it was not imported

Alltrac st-165 was imported in 88-89.5 and was a water to air cooled 3SGTE

st-185 was imported from 89.5-93 with 1400+/- imported

Those are both 90-93 cars I have a 88. Yes the car is for sale this year.

did t-belt, water pump, pulley , tensioner, changed all fluids (diffs, tranny) brakes. I am sure other stuff but I would have to think about it.
