I may be reaching with this but does anyone have a dealer they recommend or where I might have some luck on finding an older STi? I'd really like to go new but paying over a 1K/ 6 mo of insurance is rediculous!! So, I'm searching for an 05 or 06 Sti right now. Any info would be great!
lol, sorry to hijack. But yeah insurance FTL. I just sold a kid a 03WRX and he is now paying 2800 for 6months....he also has Flee from police against him LOL
I pay about 940 every 6 month for a 06 wrx. Would you consider a 06-07 wrx instead? Or do you have to have the STI?

Morries Mtka had a black and a blue, both were 04-05. Have fun, I only pay about $530/6 months for my 03
I only pay about 700/6 months ... and that is with the discount through work .. it's still pretty high I want a purple STi ..
Normally, I get away with around $600 or so for the 3 cars I have insured. Changing up to an STi though, they want to push me up over 1K for an 07. So, I'm looking for an 05 or similar.

I've been looking at the dealerships and haven't come across anything yet. Well, I'm not as young as most, I believe I'm part of the older crowd on the forum. My insurance isn't bad, I don't think.. Considering 2 of the cars I have insured are what they like to call sports cars.
hmmm I am considering selling my 2005 WRX with short shift, cobb stage 2, full TBE, catless up, alpine head unit, turbo timer, and autometer dash gauges and pod. Do you want only an STI? I bet insurance would be cheaper on a WRX and I have the same power as a stock STI
Yea I pay $1182 for 6 months for my 05' wrx.....I got a ticket that read "Operating motor vehicle on one wheel" I think that hurt a little.

Personally, if I'm going to trade in, I'm going to trade up. Like I'm sure I've mentioned, I'd love to get into a 07 STi but I have to take what I can get a good deal on. While I can afford the car, I can't afford the insurance.
Werd, the black one in the photo is an 05! Don't know if Steve still has it around, but it would be worth checking on if you want an 05 that looks drop dead sexy!!
I have an 04 you can buy. 42k miles. Only mod is window tint. WRB with gold wheels, debadged in the back, cleared headlights in the front, snokus removed. Not sure what I owe on it, but make me an offer if you're interested.
