We're going to paint the fender and do some other touch-ups. Is there a recommended brand or store to go to?
I got some paint in a spray can from welle-auto supply the color was a really good match. I think its like $18 a can, and they custom mix it for you. Otherwise there is the dealer touch up paint and a body shop.
If you want to paint it for real, almost any PPG dealer can help you out. It won't be cheap to spray on some automotive paint though. You need sealer and activator, base and reducer, and don't forget clear, activator and reducer.
Phil at Welle auto on Central. You can hit Flameburger while you're in the area if so inclined. I did the PPG Omni MBC on my 02 and the color match was perfect. But that required the whole nine yards like piddster said. If you get it pre-packaged in a rattle can, it'll be an enamel, and it'll be easy to put on, but you won't be able to clear coat it (at least not for months) and the depth of the finish won't come close to what the factory paint is, even though the color might be just great. At any rate, ask for Phil at Welle, and he'll get your straightened out.
