Looking for previous owner

Hey Everyone,

So I bought my silver 05 STI from Toyota City Dealership in Brooklyn Center. I was wondering if anyone knew who the previous owner might be. I'm trying to find out what's been done to the car. Never know, he may be on this site. Probably not though since he traded his STI for a Toyota.:biggrin: Thanks all. I'll post pictures soon but you can picture what an 05 STI would look like.

Yea, everybody know how a 05 sti look like but a "actual" picture always help. Some how I do know which WRx is mine compare to other people's Wrx's even though they look identical.

I forgot to add that the mileage was at 75000 when I bought it. And it came with an AccessPort v1.

 

To be honest that plate looks familiar.

 

cobb stage 2, strut bar, and at least a RSB. bet its fun to drive.

 

If you ever want a wrx trunk/wing id be more than willing to pay you for a trade =)

 

I test drove that 3 months ago. I offered $15.5k since it was modded, the dealer said no way, it will be gone in a week. Funny.

I would say it was stage 2 and setup for autocross or some sort of regulated racing (fire extinguisher on the passanger seat). It had a cobb exhaust, snow tires, downpipe. Looked like there was an escort radar detector in there to. There were also racing seat belts.

 

^^Yep, that's the one. Got it for 16000. Wouldn't bite on 15500.

You could try the license bureau. Give them the vin and they may be able to give you a name. Not sure though.

 

I'll give that a shot. Might have privacy issues though.

 

your local subaru dealer could look up that info too I believe...if you have a connection
