Hi all, does anyone know of (or are themselves) a good professional plumber or electrician who might be interested in a little side work helping us upgrade our house in St. Paul? Thanks!
He needs his pipes cleaned. Talk to @tangledupinblu. His coworker does electrical on the side. He does great work.
The shower in the basement of our 1950's house has an old-school two-faucet setup, no pressure or temp regulation of any kind. And to make it worse the adjustment range of the faucet valves is miniscule, tap the handle by 1/16" and the temp swings too hot or cold I'd like to get a real thermostatic (temp balancing) setup installed, or at least a pressure-balancing setup, but I think it will be tough to get at the hardware from the wall side so it will probably involve cutting a big hole in the metal shower stall, installing new copper pipes to the new mixing valve, and then putting one of those big 'remodel cover-up' escutcheons over it all?
