Hey everybody, First of all I'm not sure if this is the proper category, so if its not moderation please feel free to move it . It's been awhile since I've been on here. We've been extremely busy at the shop but I thought I'd pop on and see if we had any local interest in having someone test one of our new billet TD04 turbos? We're keeping most of the specs private for right now but what I can tell you is it is bigger then a 19T and will feature an 11 blade TD04HL turbine shaft. This will still be a direct bolt on turbo as we will be machining out the stock turbine housings. We're utilizing extended tip technology and I'm expecting these to make some good numbers on single and twin applications. We've currently got two twin turbo testers and we thought it would be good to find a tester from the single turbo market. As with all our turbos they come with a 1 year warranty so you can rest assured you are getting a quality product. We fully balance all our turbos as well as apply a high temp coating to the CHRA and the Turbine Housing. For those that don't know that much about us, we've been in business for about a year and a half and are located in Hudson WI. Turbos and supporting performance mods are all we do. We'd be looking for someone with all the proper supporting mods already so they can really push these turbos and see what they are capable of! If you're interested PM me for details and pricing. Thanks, Dan Midwest Turbo Connection
I will have the Vendor relations guy get in touch with you to get you setup with a vendor account. I'll leave this thread up in the meantime. Welcome to MNSubaru.
Well if you need some one my car is ready for a bigger turbo. I have all supporting mods just haven't bought a turbo yet! PMed
Is this just an upgraded wheel on the compressor, or does it have improvements to the exhaust side of the turbo as well?
it has a tdo4hl hot side and the cold side is bigger than a 19t/18g should be a good autocross turbo..
Just as an update: these turbos have upgraded turbine sides to the TD04HL. We're also working on testing some variations of the HL in 9 and 11 blade styles. For the compressor wheel its slightly larger then a Garrett GT2860RS so it should put down some pretty good numbers . Check out our facebook page for the first teaser photo of the wheel: www.facebook.com/midwestturbo
