As the title states I'm looking for a turboback set up or a catback and downpipe. I'm particularly interested in a Greddy Evo 2 cbe, APS tbe or Cobb tbe/cbe if anyone has either of those. It's for my '05 STI. edit: Purchased a catback so now I only need a downpipe. I would like a bellmouth dp.
Scott, are you concerned about noise at all? What are you going to be running for an axleback? Another option to take a look at is the TurboXS Stealthback, 4in DP to a 3in midsection, and it will bolt up to your stock axleback. It'll flow great, you can get them catted or non catted and you'll keep your stock axleback so you'll still stay fairly quiet when you want to minimize noise and you'll keep your stock appearance if the local LE isn't into modified cars. You can find them used on Ebay for a decent price, I've gotten two of them now for around 500 shipped, and those both came with cat and race pipes. A number of us on the board have the Steathback mated to various axlebacks, so you can probably find someone up there running that setup.
If I end up finding a catback I like I will be interested in this, but I want to wait because if I buy a turboback I won't need it I want to ditch the stock axle back. I plan to sell the stock tbe once I have bought a new one. Exhausts such as the ones I listed above are about the "loudness" that I want.
