Makes the huge price of an AP look a little better now.

and yes, I realize the car in the video isn't using AP for it.

Ugh, it sounds awful. If I'm going to enable ALS I want the cacophony of shotgun blasts to emanate from my straight pipes.

And the tinkling of your transmission bits left behind? Sorry, it's not a feature I'm going to use, even if/when it comes out for open source.

Ok, maybe if I win the lottery and can afford endless transmissions..

Well, "working" is different then "developed and in production." ;) Looks like they're still in the development phases, and plan to release it with real-time "RAM" tuning.

That's half the fun. Half-shafts, turbos, and exhaust headers exploding. ALS is good times.

I think you guys are confusing launch control with anti lag.

word, the only thing its going to hurt is driveline parts, not exhausts, not turbos, not mufflers, its basicly a rev limiter at a lower rpm

Watch for 1/4mile times to go way down for crappy drivers and for their tranmissions to explode 4 runs later. ;)

    Hey I said ALS foo'

Flat shifting is sweet. That may or may not have been enabled on the RS-T at some point...

Flat foot shifting will probably be easier on the tranny that std shifting. I know when TXS did it 5 years ago with the utec, it will cut timing and ramp timing back up after the shift.

There's the same talk with the Cobb version as well. No one knows yet how much or long you'd have to use FF for timing to be pulled but it was brought up that it may happen. I guess we'll see soon as someone gets to logging.

How are they engaging the flat shift? Is there a sensor on the clutch or will it be a separate switch like mine was?

    it's all software.
