Looks like I'll be getting a new shell afterall...

    I put my 900cc injectors in last night and was retuning it today when this happened. A woman was driving her Camry ahead of me a ways and was lost, so she decided to do a U-turn. I was coming up on her and saw that. As I got real close she just kept going and nailed me in the side. I was doing the speed limit-ish so its not like I was doing a pull and logging or anything.

    If I wouldn't have swerved at all it would have been an offset front hit, and I'd be REALLY REALLY REALLY mad, instead of just pissed off like I am now. **** happens and no one got hurt, but my baby is in critical and I don't know if she'll pull through....

    an old customer had a legacy sedan mint they were gonna sell me for $1000 but I couldnt get the wife to let me buy it.. its in Shakopee.. I could probably drive past their place sometime and see if they still have it

    Got a police report? those do wonders. Call her insurance company, give her insurance information, explain what happened.... they'll look into it IE look at police reports or whatever then call you back and arrange to look at your car for an estimate. Then they usually just cut you a check for the damages. It should go under the same claim as when she gets her car repaired.

    I've got a police report. Her car was not drivable after the accident, as her radiator hit my wheel and there was coolant and tranny fluid on the ground from her car.

    I need to talk to my agent first, but he's out of the office today. I'll go from there.

    Thanks for the offer, but I'm going to try to find something in a little better shape. Mostlikely another Leggy as anything else would be out of my price range. That also depends on what her insurance company gies me.

    As fun as an old Impreza would be, it would suck as a daily driver. That and I like having four doors and the room in a Legacy.

    That definitely sounds interesting. I need to get my claim settled before I can throw money at another car. The BD Legacies look nice. The door card is lame, but I can deal with things like that.




    We'll see what happens. I'll keep everyone updated.


    Since it's out of commission, I might as well get those heads on :dunno:
