    they may be a bit tough to test drive because it is probably the only one they have and I'm sure someone wants to buy it....It will be treated like an STi 04..at least for a month

    yep same andres. he drove it yesterday, he is considering it among some others, I still think he will end up in the MCS due to classing/competitiveness which the WRX is screwed on.

    Cons:Even worse in person...IMO. They got rid of the sharp lines, the chrome and tail lights don't look any better in person either. The rear end and wing do nothing for me on either car. I would just hope that the feel is still there when driving them. There are funny looking little mesh circle grilles where foglights should probably be, and they look fantastic!:roll: The interior is common looking at best. Honestly, there were no suprises.

    Pros:The sedan has a cool looking split/dual exhaust, that does not translate over to the hatch. The hood scoop looks recessed in the hood more like the Legacy scoop, but way bigger, looks pretty cool. I like the overall size/shape of the hatch, just needs more aggressive lines.

    Overall, I was highly dissappointed with what I saw. But I suppose, with the right amount of TLC, one could look decent. I think I'll just swap motors in my Bugeye when the time comes. Subaru=Fail, IMO.

    Still think it is ugly. At least the chrome grill is not there, that made it look like a trashy chrysler. Sad to see a Subaru focus.

    Oh, it is. Still ugly, maybe not as ugly, but the chrome is awful. Kinda has that chevy impala look.:puke:


    Also, the headlights look all Mazda 3ish....at least they come blacked out already, but why not the tail lights then!?

    We've got 2 WRXs (one of each) and a couple of the 2.5is, including a basic. Both of ours have the mesh grille thankfully. I think it helps the front end over the standard one.

    I saw two this morning a transport truck when they were dropping off other vehicles at my shop. Looked really nice a sedan and a wagon.

    I tell ya Brian....I looked at them for a while after I saw you. I would never.....ever buy a sedan. I'm still queasy. The hatch is decent, but man, wtf. I wish I could jump aboard the band wagon here, but just can't bring myself to do it.

    These models make the 06/07 look soooooooo much better, no offense guys.:biggrin:

    Yeah, I saw a huge truck of the hatch's driving up 94 on Monday morning. Almost crashed while slowing down to gawk (as we're both doing 70+ mph).

    IMHO, they look better in person. I still hate the tails and the lack of fender flares, though.

    Miller Hill got some in too. I was just looking at them 10 minutes ago :p They do look a bit better in person, and with a few mods in the right places could look even better. Nice wheels, some 4 pots, paint some red on those rice tail-lights etc. Oh and the mesh grill is the only way to go, that other one is just aweful.
