lost car due to fire

    well lastnite, my brother took my t-leg to work, so around 2:00 am, he called me and say that my car was on fire, when i got there, the whole front end melted to the ground, the hood was slash to killed the flame by firefighter, the engine seems like it shrunk, the intercooler look'd like a rice crispy treat, my front tires were burn'd........it wasnt a pretty sight........:(

    good thing that my brother others were'nt hurt.......still sad though.....sigh......

    Sorry to hear about your car, if it makes you feel any better I put out an 05 Mini Cooper convertible the other night. What year was your car?

    My guess, rear cam o-ring, pouring oil all over the up pipe.

    i have full coverage on it, the rims seems to be the onlything that can be recover, and the turbo. but i can be wrong.

    ATTN: you are welcome to come and look at parts that u might need after the inspection from my insurance.

    Ouch. That sucks man.

    I doubt the wheels are usable. The heat will change the metallurgy of the wheel and may have compromised the strength in some way.

    Where did this happen? The FD did a nice job with the K12 to get that hood opened up.

    US BANK, corp on lexington and energy park drv. my brother say that the first guy that saw the fire, also saw a van speeding away......so imma ask them to check the camera for me.
