I am just going to guess that if the car wont start and the fuel pump is making wierd noises that, that is the issue. you might check the filter screen on the pump to make sure its not obstructed. something blocking that would not let fuel through and also put extra strain on the pump. or perhaps a fuel filter?

Loud fuel pump because the fuel filter was restricting the fuel. Fuel pump had to work extra hard to try to pump the fuel through the fuel filter. problem fixed, thanks everyone
