I've been looking to install prodrive springs on my '02 and am wondering who keeps their cars lowered through the winter or do your swap the springs back for winter driving?

Any damage to lips or side skirts ever?

    Thanks for the info

don't worry about it unless you have some extreme body mods. I use eibach prokits all year and my budy uses the prodrives throughout the year. we both run stock wheels and snow tires in the winter. No body damage yet!

I played snow games this past winter *against my better judgement* and I'm on Tein FLEX coilovers and 18's w/ Yokohama Parada spec2's. (snow tires are for sissies) I haven't lost a body panel yet.

Thanks for the post ups, i'm currently running stock wheels and have just installed an EGR front lip so with the lip its a bit lower than stock but not by much. The EGR lip is basically the oem front lip but a one piecer.

Now to save up for some springs....

I have prodrive springs, I ran last year with stock rims and tires. I had no issues.

your prolly fine. i normaly raised my car fo rth winter, but this winter i will be runing w/ drop springs. it should be fine as long as you do go way deep and get stuck.

Hah, *digs through computer* OOOHHHH, here it is, the video of Justin ripping a side skirt off up at Rich's place ;)

Granted that was a rather extreme circumstance.

    You should be fine.

Stiffer suspension does hurt you in slippery conditons such as gravel, rain, or snow. I made up for my H&R coilovers with Perelli Winter Carving tires (which are sweet by the way:biggrin: ). My leggy was about an inch lower all winter and no issues. I just wasn't as balsy about flying through snowdrifts and plowed banks.
