I haven't been over here in a while, hope all the Subie owners are still going strong! It's been about 5 months since I sold my WRX and got an Evo. Gotta say, it's hard to compare both cars from a DD perspective. The WRX definitely seemed more like a car that begged to get dirty. I loved that about it. I felt like I didn't always need to keep it spotless. If I ran through a mud pit and left it like that for a week it would look awesome and I wouldn't feel bad. The Evo I definitely feel the pressure to always keep it really clean. I feel like if I ran it through the mud and left it for a week it would strip all of the paint off. I do love it however, don't get me wrong. But it's not as "rugged" as the WRX felt. I never raced the WRX, but I've had the Evo in one of the SCCA RallyCross events. Maybe I'll have to bring it back to the next one. Anyhow, speaking of keeping it clean, I took it for a carwash tonight and randomly headed to Lowertown, Saint Paul after because I noticed I had my camera with me in my backpack.
