I know I should probably just install an EJ motor, but I did not pay much for the Loyale. I also picked up an '87 XT with 1500 miles on a rebuilt motor for $50. The XT is complete and runs well, but is very rusted. Bad frame.

So right now I am looking for a wiring harness to simplify the install. Anyone on here have any tips?

    What is going where?

The XT's PCM is in the trunk, the Loyale's is under the steering column.

Yeah I know where the both PCMs are located. I suppose the biggest issue I have is the wiring harness. The turbo engine from the XT into the Loyale should not present much problems, but due to the XT's digital dash, I think the XT's wiring harness will present some issues.

Has anyone on here done a NA EA82 to EA82T conversion? Did you just use a turbo wiring harness or a MPFI harness?

I think me, todd, and now you, are essentially the only ones here who have done anything with EA82s.....and I'm not a turbo guy. I do, however, know that the signals for the digital dash vs. the analog are different, and that it is a pretty involved conversion. including at least all sending units, and possibly wiring aswell. so I think you're on the right track.

I guess I will just keep looking for a car with the correct wiring harness. Didn't think it would take so long.
