driving around with one of my freinds today and saw travis and kens cars so here are some pics http://s598.photobucket.com/albums/tt66/jasonojordan/Rally/
technically that's not ken's normal car its actually dave mirras a believe, they just re did the graphics on it. Due to Kens lil misshape at ojibwe his car is still not in running condition. So hes now racing in Super Production. Dave Mirra is out for the rest of the season because of conflicts with the dew tour is what i have heard.
yea i just uploaded some more pics ill have some good quality ones 2 maro these are all cell phone pics my batteries were dead in the digital
^ agreed there are many racers who do not own their cars. Like 90% of NASCAR and all other team racing but we still call it their car.
WEll yea most drivers dont own their cars just saying that is not the same built car you see in all his videos and everthing. Its basicly a stock 09
lol and he actually broke miras car at colorado in Sept. too. Nice guy but i dont think I would let him drive my car
yea i thought travis was a more legit guy ken really didnt have much to say when we talked to him one word answers.
he is pouting, cause he does alot better when he has 26 takes to make it look pretty..... Travis is the real deal, Ken Block locks himself away in his Ivory tower when he biffs it. Ken is seemingly unaccessible.
yea we talked to him for like 5 minutes meybe between runs we talked to travis for a good 15min. i was gunna have them sign my hood but its raining so its not gunna work so good. any ideas on what i should have signed?
Sign your passenger and/or driver's sun visor. Easy to take off and put back on. Plus I heard it adds 5 extra HP. Sign the mirror side so you can open and close it to show people and then conceal it for stealth when you're not showing it.
you should come introduce yourself to the Ziptie crew at service tomorrow. I'm sure we'll be setting fire to a grill somewhere.....
I knew there was something up. I was traipsing around the U.P. yesterday and Thursday for work. Marquette's Subaru dealership had a big trailer there (didn't see who it belonged to though) and there were an unusual amount of subarus with Minnesota plates. I guess I should have stuck around.
i only got one good video my digital camera freaked out in camera mode after that but more pics are being posted
yea car was looking good other then over shooting the hairpin in the 1st run looked like a pretty solid weekend for team ziptie. the spectator zones were pretty gay.
I had issues with the delta on delaware. First time dave got the instruction to me just a second too late and I started to turn the wrong way off the corner. The second time I bogged, thought the car died when it wouldn't respond, ground the starter, then actually killed it and finally got it running. Third time we nailed it.
pictures are all there in the 1st post 1st time through delaware after the big names came through and the budget teams started coming through u saw alot of that id say every3rd car killed it on that delta on the 1st run.
