I just picked up a Samco y-pipe from a guy and it has oil all over the inside. Unless he was doing unspeakable things to his y-pipe and needed lube :ugh:, I'm thinking he had a problem with his turbo. Question is, should I use gasoline or rubbing alcohol to get rid of the oil?

(This was posted in OT because people complain there are no funny posts.)

The y-pipe was always too wide for me. The BOV return line was ideal.

Just use a paper towel to clean it out. If you're like me more lubricant will get deposited in there in the near future.

I usually use the line with the Boost Pill in it. It's 3/16" if I recall.

Just use some good old dish soap, it will get rid of the oil, and not damage the silicon, your hands, or your lungs.

Yes, as I recall some people had sigs that were the size of the screen.

I wonder who that was...

    And no, not me.
