I just picked up a Samco y-pipe from a guy and it has oil all over the inside. Unless he was doing unspeakable things to his y-pipe and needed lube :ugh:, I'm thinking he had a problem with his turbo. Question is, should I use gasoline or rubbing alcohol to get rid of the oil? (This was posted in OT because people complain there are no funny posts.)
pshhh...personally I'd just wipe it clean and call it a day. nothing special. your stocker probably has some oil in it too.
The y-pipe was always too wide for me. The BOV return line was ideal. Just use a paper towel to clean it out. If you're like me more lubricant will get deposited in there in the near future.
Wow you guys.... I usually use the line with the Boost Pill in it. It's 3/16" if I recall. KY Warming Gel: For when she's been dead 2 days, but you still love her.
Just use some good old dish soap, it will get rid of the oil, and not damage the silicon, your hands, or your lungs.
Yes, as I recall some people had sigs that were the size of the screen. I wonder who that was... And no, not me.
