Lurker deciding to join for real!

    Hello everyone. My name is Andrew, and I've been lurking here for about 6 months or so. I originally joined because a friend is on here and to check out the classifieds. But, I'm starting to get frustrated with my current online car community ad it's time for a change fr the better!
    I currently do not own any Subies, but I do have a 2005 Audi A6 4.2. Bone stock other than magnaflow mufflers and 20" summer wheels/tires :) it's not perfect, has some dings and scratches, and needs a new quarter panel, but I love this car; it'll be nice again some day.
    Right now I live just outside of Big Lakr out by the sand dunes state forest, Orrock Township.

    I'm basically leaving the MN Audi forums, my go to for over a year, due to waaay too much drama, and a lot of snobby "follow my advise to a t or you're a stupid kid who doesn't deserve this car" attitudes. Now, there are plenty of really nice people on there, I got to know a few and will miss them, but the people who constantly insult me or troll my posts by being rude male it not worth it. I'm here for a fun time talking cars and hanging out, regardless of me being in a bad financial situation right now.

    Whew, hope that didn't scare anyone away :) can't eat to make some friends, and maybe even get into a Subie before too long!

    last winter I has some cheap all seasons on the stock 18s. It handled awesome till the tread got worn out. this winter I'm hoping to have some real winter tread on either 17s or 18s to see its true potential

    welcome aboard. the people here are really great, and helpful. I enjoy coming here, and look forward to modding my ride when I have the funds later this summer :)

    Welcome. This is a great forum. Lots of knowledge and good people.

    And while you should definitely look at your Subie options if you want to really build your car, I can't knock Audis. You have a very nice car.
