SOLD: 02 03 WRX Headlights SOLD!!! I've got a set of headlights from my 02 WRX. I put new ones in. These have about 50k on them. Make an offer. http://67.106.88.10/Derek/headlights.htm Thanks, Derek
Here's what the new ones look like. I ordered the tint kit from some subaru dealer down in OK or TX can't remember which. Then I had a guy come out and cover the rest of the headlight with 3m vinyl. I don't think the two together cost me $50. I think it was worth it. Derek
Can you take a picture with the old one next to the new one. Interested in the passengers side one if it's in good condition.
How else would one rate them? I'm sure there is a probable equation that can calculate how many interactions with foreign objects happen in a given amount of time (randomly of course). That is probably relative to the speed at which you drive (averaged of course). Given the know mileage on the car, one could deduce the amount of wear on the face of the headlight. The amount of wear can be increased if the driver was a habitual speeder (more forceful impacts). This is only figuring direct impacts with objects possessing kinetic energy. Other impacts by things with potential energy have a different formula all together. You must factor in anything that can fall onto the headlight causing undo wear. The intelligence of the owner is a huge factor here. Anyone that stores anything near or above their precious car is a fool. Lastly we need to account for objects with opposing force (wind blown particles and other interactions while the car is not moving such as a kid playing with a ball). These would have to be figured out separately. I don’t have time for all that; I’ll give you the mileage.
Lucky Ray, you got there before the car left for alignment? I saw the Eclipse and the Yamaha, no rex.:emo: But they were really nice, and that eclipse could tear most of us a new one!:eek3:
Predavore had a good idea. This set will allow some temp. headlights for those being painted. When I painted mine it took about eight hours...that was eight hours w/o my car!! Police frown on you driving around with no hl on your ride. Now I can swap their hl's for these and paint theirs, then they can stop back in a day or two and get the painted ones fully dried! Anyone need the hl's painted!? OOops...point for me "tha thr3ad jacka!"
Have some laying around. They look really nice, just didn't fit well. I think I'm just going to try to tint the side markers to match the headlights. I hate orange. Derek
