Making another key for '03 Outback?

    Am I able to simply go to a hardware store or locksmith and have them make a copy of the key for a 2003 Outback, or do I need to go to the dealer to get one?

    go to the dealer, its not expensive

    You can do either. I don't believe that hardware stores will have the blanks, but I may be wrong. I have brought in blanks to hardware stores, though.
