As the old saw goes, money doesn't grow on trees. But sometimes it sprouts up in the garden. An unemployed man in northern Illinois was out working in his backyard when he came across some serious green: bags filled with $150,000 cash. Wayne Sabaj was headed to pick some broccoli to go with his roast. The carpenter spotted duffel bags that looked like trash by the peppers -- but they turned out to be a cash crop: stacks of $20 bills that added up to about $150,000. The 49-year-old, who is living with his dad, did not exactly jump for joy. The out-of-work carpenter told ABC7, "I could really use this money." But with this money comes trouble. He explained, "With my luck, it would be bank robbery and I'd get caught and say I'd robbed a bank." So the honest man with money troubles alerted the police to his amazing backyard treasure. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/man-finds-150-000-garden-225554517.html They say..."Opportunity knocks once and doesn't knock again" or " Chance comes once and never comes again" What would you do if it were you that found this 150K in your garden?
sh*t damn! i would spend it slowly. dumb dude...j/k my wife would probably have me do what the man did.
typically they keep it until it is claimed or the find out whether it is a bank robbery money or drug money etc... then they give it to the person who found it... well they used too... tough choice hahah but easy money is never truly easy...
Take it to the casino 10k at at time...turn it in for chips, gamble away a few hundo, turn chips in for cash. Clean cash? It works in the movies, right?
id say keep it but watch your back and dont spend it like crazy that way the person looking for it doesnt know for sure if you have it. mostly cuz you cant trust the govt. or the cops these days to know if you will get it back. all we know is its prolly not clean money so best to keep your mouth shut
