Mankato Meet and Meat Eat

There seems to be a good number of us in/around the Mankato area now... I say we get together and eat food somewhere and talk Subarus and concern the locals.

To recap:
Meet up for food and discussion, scare locals, small insults towards each other, lesbian rights support rally, scare tales of yesteryear before we all swarmed to the anus of the river valley.

This would be a preliminary meeting situation, and we could then branch out and plan other get togethers, possibly culminating in a weekly meet type scenario.

What info I want/need from you:
does the date and time frame work? number attending, place preferred for meeting, how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop... the list goes on and on.

 

I was going to list the other ideas and "other" on the pole...but apparently pushing the wrong key accidentally posted the thread and poll.

 

Time should work, I am in the middle of a employment switch but that should not be too much of an issue.
I went with applebee's, frosted beer mugs!

Exactly correct, and depending on how the waitress acts, I might add another to my collection. To date, I've acquired 5 of them, one of which I have kept for myself.

I'll be on my way to Texas for supra nationals on that Wednesday. But would definitely make it out to the next one. (Assuming/hoping it turns into something regular)

 

Tell Dustin to check the boards, I don't plan to go to Mt Kato to tell him. lol

 

He never goes on here but I keep him up to date. I told him about it and he has nothing going on that night so he has no excuse not to make it out.

 

Sounds about right. I'd assume if we get a decent turn out, we could easily turn this into a weekly kinda deal

 

I'm local, and can probably make any night except Tuesdays for a regular meet. I'm not picky about food, as long as there's beer!

So I am out this Wednesday as I will be in rochester for the whole week, apparently new employee orientation takes this loooooong. Either way, I would be there in a ford pickup truck till the subie get's finished. Will be there next one though!

It's semi-formal and mandatory so church clothes people.... It'll be fun to dress up..... ANYONE know??

pants are ALWAYS optional, however, suits could be more fun... or sweater vests and dress shirts.

Would putting invites on modified subies around town bring bad publicity? haha because there are a bunch around that im not sure are on here but would mabe come out.

Unless your fine with a 2 1/2 year old, I will be showing up by myself. Actually was planning on leaving her with the grand parents. Easier that way.

 

personally, I wouldn't care either way, Sean Kelly and I live with a 5 and a 10 year old, so I'm used to obnoxious children that aren't mine.

 

I hope we get the waitresses that know me. Either way I'll be looking for the fly honeys.
