Feel free to watermark for copyright purposes. PM Me if you want my E-mail address 3. One entry picture per person allowed for contest. 4. Picture must be YOURS - and must be taken DURING the contest dates. 5. Photoshopping / alterations IS/ARE allowed. 6. Must follow forum rules (no NSFW, swearing, etc.) 7. Maximum file size: 800 x 800 pixels 8. Whoever wins the challenge must have new challenge posted by the last day of the previous month. 9. This is the discussion AND photo thread, yo. If there is ANY question about the date that the picture was taken, the original image with the Exif information must be E-mailed to me. I would like to believe that all participants will honor the contest by not cheating and so far that has worked, so keep it up.

awesome lighting and interesting composition in Light Painting! that one gets my vote. the others seem like just over proscessed images using adobe filter effects. id really suggest people try and not use car realated subjects. althout it can look cool. the content should be second to composition and exposure. get creative people! go for a walk in a new area with great archetechture or unique views. think about line, contrast, framing the focal point with other things like buildings, trees, or other things. think about proper light exposre. take lots of pics of the same things from different angles and elevations and depths to find that ONE great shot for entry. i know its a lot coming from someone who cant get his photos taken on time but i urge people to not only take better pics but vote for the better pics. being a car forum people will always vote for the car images but thats ripping people off who actually try to get an image edited and ready. (not trying to offend anyone. im just making a point)
Point taken, but just because you like something doesn't mean everyone else needs to as well. You're right, the two other pictures are processed using adobe effects but the photographers actually took a bit of time and submitted an entry that THEY liked. You are definately a good photographer and I absolutely respect your work as well as the passion that you have for the medium, but I would urge you to take some time and practice what you preach before steppign onto the soap box. Please understand that I'm not trying to offend you or make you mad or anything, so please don't take it that way. You have been quite involved in making suggestions for enteries but only rarely submitting any yourself and I would really like you SHOW people what you are talking about. :cheers2:

I completely spaced on this months. Night shots are hard for me. I had no good ideas. I am ready for next month though, itchin to get the camera out again.
