    yeah me too but wow i never looked that them both at the same time. they are soooo similar. i actualy like the mazdaspeed3 a lot....but not as much as the sti

    They are both 5-doors. And half the SUVs/hatchbacks out there since 2002 have that notched back third window. Beyond that, there isn't really that much that is similar between them.

    both look nice. The rims are very similar. I like how mazda is more agressive tho.

    yeah but overall shape compared to almost any other car is more different. the fenders and doors are almost the same on these too. but i now what your getting at. although i think that shape plays a large roll in how a car looks :D

    Lessons to be learned from the auto industry:

    1. All cars are copies of prior cars, just stretched, shrunk, widened, narrowed... Take your pick. When they run out of ideas, they remake the old stuff. Hence, the new Charger, Camaro, blah, blah, blah.
